Good to read your reflections and that you found some valuable nuggets. WebQuests are a great way to structure learning activity with both the opportunity for collaboration and for students to have guiding inquiry experience. They are difficult to construct in a meaningful way, but well worthwhile. :) Remember to add your resources - including what you used to create your cool color block slides (Canva?)
